At Junction, we’ve spent years helping tourism businesses and destination marketing organizations across North America grow through better strategy, stronger storytelling, and smarter marketing.

We also run eLearningU.com, the largest online learning platform for tourism marketing, where thousands of professionals come to build their skills.

Now, we’re building something new.

We’re turning everything we’ve learned—every project, every insight, every dataset—into AI systems that help us (and our clients) move faster, think smarter, and deliver better results. As AI reshapes how businesses operate, we’re focused on integrating it directly into how we deliver strategy, insights, and training.

And we’re looking for someone to help us build it.

What This Role Really Is

This isn’t a typical marketing internship.

You won’t just be posting content or pulling reports.

You’ll be helping us build the AI infrastructure behind our business—organizing and connecting years of knowledge so it can power smarter tools, better insights, and stronger outcomes for our clients.

Some of the work is foundational: structuring files, organizing data, and building systems.

But what gets built on top of that is where things get interesting.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll contribute to several AI initiatives already in progress:

Accelerator Agent: We’ve run dozens of one-on-one coaching programs with tourism businesses. You’ll help organize and index that knowledge so we can build an AI agent that surfaces insights and supports both our team and our clients.

Trends Analysis Agent:This system gathers and interprets industry reports and research. You’ll help refine both the inputs (what information we collect) and outputs (how insights are delivered).

Business Development Agent: Our internal agent identifies opportunities across the internet. You’ll help make it smarter, more relevant, and more actionable over time.

Your Ideas: If you see a better way to use AI in our business, we want to hear it, and potentially build it.

Alongside these projects, you’ll also contribute to:

This role is a fit if you…

You don’t need to be a developer.

Backgrounds in marketing, communications, or business work well—especially if you’ve experimented with AI tools on your own.
