Training may be the most valuable thing that an organization can do to invest in its growth and sustainability, and when it comes to social media I believe that it is always most powerful when it’s led by one or more well trained people within an organization.

That may sound strange coming from an agency, but we look at the way that we add value a little differently. Success in what we do is measured by the quality of communication that comes from the brands that we work with, so in order to make that happen we know that the most valuable thing that we can do is to start out by equipping one or more people who live and breathe the brand to be driving social media for the organization.

Only when the organization is fully aligned and equipped to be communicating powerfully can it take best advantage of creative & execution services that an agency like us can provide.

To some organizations, training can sound like a cost centre, or a long-term investment, when those resources could be put towards driving business right away. As a business owner, I can empathize.

That’s why I was so excited to learn about a program that Work BC is now offering called the Canada-BC Jobs Grant.

In short, they have identified that one of the best things that we can do as a Province to build our businesses is to invest in ourselves, so they are offering a grant that will cover up to $10,000 in training for businesses in BC.

That’s a big deal, and I encourage everyone to take advantage of it in every way that they can.

One of those ways can be our Social Media training, which exists to develop those skills and abilities within your organization. Over the past 5 years we have worked to equip brands ranging from international retailers to local Non-Profits deliver their own powerful communications.

We’d love to talk to you about how that training, and the BC Jobs Grant can be applied to your organization.
